As a Veteran Airborne Army Ranger, our Director of Preconstruction Kevin Powell is an advocate for fellow veterans. On Wednesday, November 7th, Kevin and the Live Oak Contracting team hosted a Fall Festival Cocktail Party fundraiser at Live Oak’s office to help provide financial assistance to organizations offering services for Veterans who are in the process of transitioning to civilian life as well as other local nonprofits.
Kevin was chosen earlier this year as a 2018 JAX MVP with the Jaguars Foundation as an emerging leader in the community. JAX MVPs are part of an exclusive networking and development team that helps support the Jaguars Foundation and our local community. They support over 200 organizations including the Jacksonville Humane Society, Five Star Veterans Center, and more.
As a result of months of fundraising and The Fall Festival Cocktail Party, Kevin reached his goal, over $5,000 for the Jaguars Foundation! Thank you so much to everyone who was able to attend this event and support Kevin’s fundraising efforts!
