This month, Live Oak sponsored the 20th Annual Champions for Child Safety Pro-Am Golf Tournament, hosted by the Monique Burr Foundation for Children.
The golf tournament raised $178,000 with all proceeds supporting the foundation’s Child Safety Matter Program. This school-based initiative provides insights and strategies on how to prevent child abuse including bullying, cyberbullying, neglect, and more.
The Monique Burr Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to protect and advocate for children through prevention education. The foundation has trained over 2,600 facilitators and reached nearly 2 million children in Florida and the United States.
