Live Oak Contracting is proud to announce that Division Manager Kirby Ingram has been named to the Jacksonville Business Journal’s prestigious 2025 “40 Under 40” list. This annual award honors 40 rising professionals under the age of 40 who are shaping Northeast Florida’s future through leadership, innovation, and community impact. (The Business Journals)

With over 17 years of construction experience and nine years in leadership, Ingram has overseen the development of more than 3,700 multifamily units, valued at over $769 million. His portfolio includes market-rate and student housing projects along the East Coast, and he holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Ingram is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Building Construction Management. His diverse background, spanning the nuclear power industry, industrial mining, and commercial construction, highlights his adaptability and success in the construction field.

Ingram’s leadership philosophy centers on mentorship and accountability. As a member of Live Oak’s leadership team, he guides project managers, fosters cross-functional collaboration, and ensures projects meet client goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. His commitment to “inspect what you expect” has become a guiding principle for his teams.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ingram is deeply involved in the Jacksonville community. He mentors young professionals entering the construction industry and supports environmental initiatives through Live Oak’s sponsorship of the Coastal Conservation Association. His early humanitarian work, which involved building homes in Panama, Haiti, and Native American communities, continues to inspire his belief that construction is about creating places where people can thrive.

“Kirby’s recognition is a testament to his dedication to excellence and his impact on our company and the broader community,” said Paul Bertozzi, President and CEO of Live Oak Contracting. “We are thrilled to see him honored among Jacksonville’s most influential young leaders.”

The 2025 “40 Under 40” honorees were celebrated at an event on May 15 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. This year’s theme, Crafting Community, highlighted the honorees’ collaborative spirit and commitment to shaping a stronger, more inclusive Jacksonville.
