Live Oak Contracting, one of the top contracting firms located in the Southeast, has been selected by San Marco Cross Training to renovate their Jacksonville, Florida facility. With a tight five-week timeline, Live Oak is working with the San Marco Cross Training staff to ensure that construction continues with as little impact as possible on the day to day business of the facility which includes scheduling work crews after hours. Live Oak’s flexible scheduling will allow the center to remain open for the duration of the renovation.
San Marco Cross Training is a 3,000 square foot facility with several personal trainers on staff and offers a variety of programming for their members. The renovation project includes an updated layout to better serve the facility’s needs along with new flooring including NFL grade Astroturf, mats, and carpeting. The gym’s interior walls are being reconfigured to allow for a 1200 square feet feature wall. New exposed duct work and upgraded Ardd+Winter LED lighting will complete the facility’s more modern design. Additionally, the project will use reclaimed materials on the wood wall and barn door to help meet the organization’s sustainability goals.
Mike Walker, the owner of San Marco Cross Training, is excited about the project and Live Oak Contracting’s involvement. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2016 with an estimated cost of $66,372.
