Live Oak Contracting has relocated to a new office space that is more than double the square footage to accommodate their rapidly growing business. They are now located at 100 N. Laura Street.
Jacksonville, FL/July 19, 2018 – Jacksonville-based general contracting firm that specializes in multifamily and commercial projects, Live Oak Contracting, announced today it has moved its headquarters to the ninth floor of 100 N. Laura Street in Downtown Jacksonville. The company is nearly doubling the amount of office space to nearly 14,000 square feet to accommodate for growth.
Upon selecting the new building for the company, Founder of Live Oak Contracting, Paul Bertozzi, said, “The bottom line is everyone wants to be part of a vibrant, successful community. Being a Jacksonville native, I think it’s important to be a part of the development of our city. We are very excited to have signage and a new space in one of the most prominent areas of Jacksonville’s downtown urban core.” He continued, “The Live Oak team has grown over 32% in the last year and as we continue to expand in the future, it’s a good feeling to know we now have the space we need to support that growth.”
Live Oak Contracting served as the general contractor for the build-out of the new office space in collaboration with Jacksonville-based design firm Hota Design Studio, LLC. John Perez IIDA,
Principal Interior Designer/Owner of Hota Design Studio, said, “Live Oak Contracting’s new office space was designed to maximize the use of natural light with exposed, high ceilings, and facilitate an open working environment which the company fosters in all facets of business. The use of light and reflective materials throughout the circulation paths conveys continuity of movement, while the use of artwork and rustic elements ground the spaces and enhance the interior, providing warmth and interest throughout.”
The building owners, Eddie and Chuck Farrah, have also invested $2.5 million in renovations to the lobby area and exterior of the building. Bellwether, a full-service restaurant, and the gym, 24/7 Anytime Fitness, on the second floor and Centerstate Bank on the first floor make the building a desirable location.
