Live Oak’s Director of Preconstruction Kevin Powell was chosen as one of this year’s 2018 JAX MVP’s with the Jaguars Foundation. Selected for their role as local emerging leaders in the community, JAX MVPs are part of an exclusive networking and development team that helps support the Jaguars Foundation and the Jacksonville community.
The Jaguars Foundation supports local non-profits such as Jacksonville Humane Society, Hubbard House, Five Star Veterans Center, and Rethreaded to name a few.
On June 14th, the JAX MVP’s hosted their annual Cocktail Fundraising Party at the Jaguars Stadium. The event included a behind the scenes tour of the locker room, training facilities, weight room, and equipment room. There was also an open bar, DJ, and silent auction. For each ticket purchased, participants were entered to win two tickets to the Jaguars home opener rematch against the Patriots.
As a JAX MVP, Kevin’s 2018 goal for the Jaguars Foundation is $5,000. At the event, he raised $2,200!
